Based on the official system requirements posted on the official website, the CAM2 wasn't designed to be compatible with Windows 7. You have the possibility to install it in Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32bit only), Windows Vista (32 or 64bit), and Windows 7 .(32 and 64bit). There is no Windows 8.1 mentioned on the page. You can find additional information on the following website: http://www.faro.com/products/faro-software/cam2-measure-10/system-requirements#main
However, if you have the setup, right click it and select Properties > Compatibility. Choose one of the supported versions (see above!) and then attempt to run it as Administrator and it should work.
Note: Use a 64 bit operating system to increase compatibility and processing power.
I'm using Window 7 and I'm having problems installing the CAMS software. I can't complete the registration part and I'm having a "Timeout error" when I'm decompressing file 4. I'm unable to log in because the program cannot recognize my agent code. Can you help?

Hi Darren. I am having the same problems as yours. Do you have it solved by now? How's the solution? Appreciate very much if u could reply this to me soon ya. Please email me: [email protected]
This application is not free and it isn't available for public downloading. In a case like this, the user needs to get in contact with the developer to obtain additional information. Sometimes you need to settle (establish purchase options, price, modules, features, etc) with the developer in order to receive the application or to have the possibility to buy it.
I tried to view "Unrealized Profit/Loss" under Account Analysis but CAMS keeps showing me black text boxes instead of information. What should I do?

In order to fix the problems, try uninstalling the software (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and then installing it again. All your data used by the program will be automatically imported and you should be able to check the Unrealized Profit/Loss information. If you have problems, use the contact information from the official web page to get in touch with the support team.
